Welcome to St. Chrysostom's church!

St. Chrysostom's in Manchester is a welcoming and inclusive church that is rooted in the Catholic tradition. We aim to be a strong catholic presence in our community. Spreading the word of God and reaching out to those most in need that we may serve others as Christ serves us. All are welcome!

This weekend is the FIFTH SUNDAY AFTER EPIPHANY

Next Sunday Mass takes place on 8 February at 11am, where Mtr Andrea with preside and preach

This week's message is where we remember Jesus calling us to be salt and light, faithfully living and deepening God’s law, so our visible goodness leads others to glorify the Father in heaven.

Morning Prayer (Lauds) continues this weekend at 10.30am and every Sunday thereafter. This is the perfect way to prepare yourself for Holy Mass at 11am.

Next Mid week service takes place on Thursday 11 February at 1pm. David Jackman will continue leading a service of silent meditation for 20 minutes, with scripture readings from the Mass of the day.

Annual Ladyewell pilgrimage - Saturday 2 May 2026

Fr Stephen Dutton is organsing another parish pilgrimage to the Ladyewell Shrine near Preston, Lancashire. There will be three pick up places: St. Chrysostoms, Manchester; Holy Cross, Timperley and Lymm.

Ladyewell is an ancient place of pilgrimage and you will have time to visit the shrine buildings and beautiful grounds. Hot drinks will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch. There are opportunities to worship together with a Eucharist and sprinkling in the grounds. It is a lovely day out with opportunities for spiritual refreshment, fellowship and fun.  We will arrive at the shrine by 11.30am and then have our Eucharist at 1230, leaving at 3.30pm.

To reserve a place, please  give £20 to Edward, Andrew or Wayne no later than Sunday 15th February.

St Chrysostom's welcomes all people regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, relationship status, or disability. We are a vibrant Anglican church, of the Anglo-Catholic tradition, serving the Church of England Parish of Victoria Park.
